Love stories come alive amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Whistler, British Columbia. Nestled in the heart of this picturesque mountain town, the Audain Art Gallery, a place where modern artistry meets romance. Tomasz and I had the privilege of capturing the cuteness of Vanessa and Marco, against the backdrop of this stunning venue, for their unforgettable Whistler wedding. We are always over the moon to capture Whistler weddings because it's where we got married back in 2020. Whistler will always hold a special place in our hearts for this reason.
As wedding photographers, we're no strangers to the specialness of a wedding day. However, there was something unique about Vanessa and Marco's celebration. From the moment we arrived in Whistler we felt the special connection the couple had with the mountains and the village of Whistler. We started with a first look at Vanessa's dad's place. All of Marco and Vanessa's family and friends gathered around to celebrate the first look.
From the first look we moved to the beautiful Green Lake in Whistler for wedding party photos. The lake is surrounded by beautiful mountains and trees in every direction. Green Lake makes for a beautiful stop for wedding photography in Whistler. Following Green Lake we headed to Meadow Park for a few more photos with the beautiful Whistler Summit in the background.
Following all the wedding photos we headed to Audain Art Gallery for the main event. The modern elegance of the Audain Art Gallery provided the perfect backdrop for Vanessa and Marco's wedding. The ceremony space outside has a lush green backdrop.
Following the wedding ceremony we took our last wedding portraits around Audain. With its sleek lines, expansive windows, and minimalist design, the gallery exuded sophistication and charm. Every corner seemed to offer a new perspective, allowing us to capture intimate moments against a backdrop of artistic brilliance.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow over Whistler Village, we stole a few moments to capture some intimate portraits of Vanessa and Marco before heading to their epic reception party.
The reception that followed was a celebration of love, laughter, and shared memories. Surrounded by their closest friends and family. The Audain Art Gallery has a beautiful outdoor reception space where guests can enjoy the best meal under the whistler sunset.
As the evening drew to a close, we couldn't help but feel grateful for being a part of Vanessa and Marco's Whistler wedding. Their love story, set against the backdrop of the Audain Art Gallery left us feeling so grateful to be apart of this day.
