There’s something about late summer weddings that feels effortlessly magical—and Cosima and Parker’s August celebration at Redwoods in Langley was exactly that. Set beneath towering trees and golden sunlight, their day felt like stepping into an editorial dream laced with vintage charm and film-inspired warmth.
From the very first moment we arrived, it was clear that this wedding would be all about ease, elegance, and emotion. The atmosphere was intimate, like a garden party where everyone felt at home—guests sipping cocktails on the lawn, laughter drifting between the trees, and music weaving gently through the warm air.
One of our favorite elements? The styling. Cosima’s timeless gown and Parker’s classic suit set the tone, while every detail—from the delicate florals to the thoughtful table settings—felt both intentional and effortlessly chic. It was the kind of aesthetic that doesn’t try too hard, but still leaves you speechless.
Photographing this wedding on digital and film-inspired presets allowed us to lean into that dreamy nostalgia. Our approach was all about documenting moments as they unfolded—glances exchanged across the dinner table, wind catching a veil, spontaneous dance moves during golden hour. Candid photography has always been at the heart of our storytelling, and Cosima and Parker’s day gave us endless moments to capture with honesty and heart.
